Puppy Bowl 2021, is dedicated to inspiring, adoptable dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and personalities.

Puppy Bowl 2021

Puppy Bowl 2022, or Puppy Bowl XVIII (Puppies Bowl 2022 has been going on for long enough to also be called by Roman numerals, just like Super Bowl), is a chance to honor adopted dogs, as well as shelters and rescues working to help those animals find their forever homes.

Fans will not only get Super Bowl, with Animal Planet and Discovery Plus have plenty of Puppy Bowl 2022-related programming on their schedules.

Puppy Bowl 2022 is also more than just the actual Puppy Bowl, as Animal Planet will be hosting the pre-game show, "Puppies Bowl XVIII," which takes place at 1 p.m.

There will be two options for American viewers to watch the Puppy Bowl 2022 since the special event will be broadcast on Animal Planet, while it is also available for streaming on Discovery Plus.

Before it, the pregame show featuring beloved sportscasters Rodt Weiler, James Hound, Sheena Inu, and sideline reporters Brittany Spaniel and Herman Shepard will provide insight into the 2021 Puppy Bowl only dogs can provide.

Before that, a pregame show featuring fans' favorite sports correspondents, Rodt Weiler, James Hound, Sheena Inu, and field reporters Brittany Spaniel and Herman Shepard, will share Puppy Bowl 2021 insights that only a dog could deliver.

Actress Kristen Bell participated in a "Pups Close and Personal" segment this year, going into more depth about some of the dogs that the Animal Planets team featured in camp, Wanner explained; Steve Levy from ESPN and Sage Steele from SportsCenter joined to offer up analyses during the entire game; Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart hosted.

New to this year's festivities is a team of adopted pup cheerleaders, and ESPN's Steve Levy and Sage Steele are providing play-by-play and analysis. For the first time ever, on the sidelines, players from the Team Ruff and Team Fluff teams will be greeted by no less an entourage than adopted puppy cheerleaders.

Puppy Bowl XVII features 70 adopted puppies divided into two teams, Team Ruff and Team Fluff, each competing for the highly-coveted Chewy Lombarky Trophy (see what they did there?).

While the Chiefs and Buccaneers prepare for their biggest games, The Puppy Bowl, hosted by Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, Martha StewartSnoop Dogg, will be featuring a showdown between #TeamRuff and #TeamFluff, who are fighting for the Chewy Lombardy Trophy.

Not only will Stewart and Snoop be hosting the annual sporting event with dog-powered entertainment, but the dynamic duo will also be hosting an epic Tailgate Party as well as cheering on the adopted pup players from the Annenberg Pet Space, Paw Works, and the LA SPCA.

The dynamic duo will be back together for the annual canine-powered sporting event, which will be broadcast on Discovery+ and Animal Planet before Super Bowl Sunday's biggest game.

Operation Paws for Homes (OPH) is hosting a free virtual "Puppies Bowl" viewing party over Zoom for anyone wanting to join to root for seven of OPHs rescued pets, including Quinn (formerly Comet), to compete in this year's puppy bowl.

Puppy Bowl XVII will pit teams Ruff and Fluff (whose record is tied at 3) to battle it out for the Lombarkey Trophy at the Stadium Within A Stadium.

In 2018, Blizzard hosted a Pokemon-themed "Puppies Rumble", featuring two teams of puppies playing Capture the Flag, in celebration of Year of the Dog game events, and to encourage adoption.

Create a free Puppy Bowl trading card of your own pup at the Animal Planets site, or use two super-fun Animal Planet Puppy Bowl Instagram Story effects: a Puppy Bowl kiss cam and the Choose Your Own Player effect.

The Bowl Cam provides shots from above, through a clear base of the stadium's specially constructed water bowl, and has a wide-angle lens, which allows viewers to see the many puppies drinking the water (and walking around in it) at close range.
